ARK, its staff and volunteers are devoted to developing appropriate quality programs that are holistic and comprehensive; programs to meet the diverse needs of the target beneficiaries. We design our programs to be replicated and easily implemented by the target communities. Our goal is to have this occur with little or no outside assistance within a time frame of five to ten years.

ARK staff and volunteers have witnessed the suffering of individuals and families tragically impacted by extreme generational poverty, war, HIV/AIDS and the lack of opportunities.  However, we have also observed the resilience, determination, and hope of thousands of women, children, and communities.  At ARK, we thoroughly understand the harsh realities facing most of Africa. We choose to focus on the possibilities/ways of changing substandard living conditions. Our programs are designed to assist underprivileged families, youth and children define their abilities for improving their living conditions and lives in general.
